...and unlike a lot of my baking, it didn't suck. In fact, it tasted quite, quite good.
Amanda blogged about this baguette recipe last week, and I knew I had to try it. Six baguettes later, I'm hooked. There is nothing quite like bread hot out of the oven. And bread that probably only costs fifty cents to make.
(I used my KitchenAid mixer because we don't have a bread machine. If you don't have either, I'm sure it will still work with hand-mixed dough. Not that I know anything about bread.)
